Whoever doesn’t make it into the beta will still get presents

While many players are already regularly immersing themselves in the 5 vs. 5 battles of the beta and are busy grinding on their skills for the official release this summer, thousands of players are still waiting for access.

In order to ensure that these don´t get anything in the worst case, the developers are now distributing small gifts: All players who have connected their Riot account to their Twitch account and have watched Valorant streams for at least two hours will receive an exclusive player card at the latest at the start of the open beta phase: ” As a thank you for all your interest in the VALORANT Closed Beta and for hanging out with the Twitch community, we have a little present: An exclusive player card for everyone who has watched enough streams to qualify for the Closed Beta. Even if you don’t make it in, you’ll find it in your account at launch” – VALORANT (@PlayVALORANT) 4. Mai 2020

Player cards are a kind of avatar or profile picture that players can use to show special achievements or just their favorite agent. The player card that Riot is now handing out to all his loyal fans features artwork by playable agent Brimstone and a reference to the Twitch Chat, where many fans have spent several hours.
